6th  Mother and Child Awareness Programme

Date: 09.02.2019 
6th Mother and Child Awareness Programme camp was held in Hadkalkhati village on 09.02.2019 at 11am. Among village representatives, only one sahayika was present. 38 females including adolescent girls attended the camp. Following points were discussed in detail-
a.     How will adolescent nutrition affect fetal growth in future pregnancy?
b.     How maternal nutrition affects fetal growth?
c.      How exclusive breastfeeding is beneficial for newborn?
d.     How pre lacteal feeds adversely affects neonatal growth?
e.     Complementary feeding in details.
f.       What can prevent iron deficiency anemia in child?
g.     Correct way of hand washing technique.
h.     Few other points regarding child growth.

Posters were used to explain few points. Queries of females were explained in detail. We got a positive feedback from the females at the end of the camp.
